| More Info | A well laid out lush green campus away from the hustle and bustle of big cities, yet with all modern infrastructural facilities, providing excellent ambience conducive to studies and overall development of students.
• A benign management with progressive outlook headed by Revered Swamiji, providing moral and spiritual support, resulting in a disciplined and peaceful atmosphere in the campus, totally free from student unrest and discontent.
• Twenty Five Computer centres housing 980 computer systems with latest configuration are located in different departments. All these systems are connected by LAN and campus wide network with fibre optic backbone providing easy access to all students.
• A 2-Mbps internet leased line providing round the clock internet connectivity, is an exclusive feature of SIT. With this, it has been possible to provide adequate time slots to students for internet browsing, in addition to their regular laboratory work.
• Computer centres are kept open beyond working hours, up to 10 p.m.
• Modular courses and special lectures by experts are arranged for students to bridge the gap between the university curriculum and industrial needs.
• Two personality development programmes are arranged annually for students of first and third semesters for a duration of two days each in which training is imparted in communication skills, CV preparation, group discussion, facing interview etc. |
